Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Animal Friends says:
Shy, gentle Theo came to Animal Friends after being found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home! His favorite volunteers let us know that he loves belly rubs! Because of Theo's shy nature, we believe he would be most comfortable in a home with children older than 10. Theo would not enjoy a home with cats.

Theo regularly ventures in to the community to act as a therapy dog to folks in hospitals and nursing homes. He loves everyone he meets, and is very good in the car, although he does need helping getting in sometimes. We hope his new family will continue working with Theo, as he is truly a Bully breed ambassador.

If you are looking for a sweet, gentle companion, come in to Animal Friends and ask an adoption counselor to meet Theo.

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!
