Furry Tails: Sushi & Frenchy Are Searching For Good Homes
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Sushi
Animal Friends
Sushi is looking for a loving home where he can live out his golden years in the calm and quiet! He's affectionate, kind and laid back.
Animal Friends says:
"This endearing senior has so much going for him! Sushi exudes a spirit of gentleness and calmness. He will happily sit or give paw in hope of an affectionate pat on the head. A tasty treat would be a plus!
"Sushi's exercise requirements are minimal. His jogging days are behind him, but he does find leisurely strolls appealing! Sushi's a great loose leash walker.
"This wonderful fellow would be most comfortable in a home with children over six. Since Sushi interacts well with other dogs in our play groups, he probably would welcome a canine sibling."
If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Frenchy
Animal Rescue League
He'll brighten your day with slobbery kisses and snuggles! Frenchy is a sweet and funny guy who needs a forever family!
The Animal Rescue League says:
"If you are looking for an active, loveable and silly guy- look no further because our Frenchy could be your perfect dog! Frenchy is pretty excited to find himself at the Animal Rescue League - lots of new people to meet and things to learn! Frenchy is a fast learner, especially if treats are involved. He does a great job with "sit" and is quickly learning "down." He even can give paw! Frenchy really enjoys long walks, and walks especially well with an easy-walk harness. Like all young dogs, we recommend basic obedience classes for Frenchy. These give him a chance to improve on his skills, gain self-confidence, and also to develop a close bond with his new family. Did we mention that Frenchy is a silly guy? He fancies himself a big lapdog and loves to give slobbery kisses. Frenchy is wise beyond his years and already knows that some days all that is needed is a big 'ole slobbery kiss and a snuggle from your best friend."
To find out more about how to adopt Frenchy, visit the Animal Rescue League's website at this link!
