Furry Tails: Searching For A Forever Home (11/3)

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Orion

Western Pennsylvania Humane Society

Orion is one big kitty with a lot of love to give. If you think you have enough room in your heart for this lovable gal, she's waiting at the Western Pa. Humane Society for her forever home!

The Western Pa. Humane Society says:
Orion is a big girl! She is 5-years-old and weighs in at 16 pounds! She is a very sweet and loving cat who craves attention and a good head scratch! What makes her even more special is that she is polydactyl - meaning she has extra toes! She seems to be fine around other cats, so ask our staff about proper introductions. Come visit Orion today, she will capture your heart!

Jacob

Animal Friends

This smart, energetic little bunny is looking for a forever home where he can spend lots of time playing. If you think he would make a perfect pet for your family, he's currently waiting for a loving family at Animal Friends.

Animal Friends says:
Our boy Jacob is a very sweet bunny. We're not really sure how he came to be outside and running loose, but luckily, he was humanely trapped by local rabbit rescue group, Rabbit Wranglers. After a short stay with them, Jacob has come to Animal Friends to find his forever home!

Jacob would make a great first-time bunny for someone. He is very friendly, loves to be around people and is a social butterfly. He loves to play and will need time and space to run and get his energy out. He loves to dig and burrow under towels, paper or straw. We also think he would very much like some toys or other things to keep his mind stimulated.

He would also make a great office assistant for the self-employed. He loves to shred paper!
