Furry Tails: Patsy, Leroy & Logan Are Waiting For Forever Homes
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Patsy
Animal Friends
Sassy, loving and beautiful... Patsy is a cat who has it all! The only thing she's missing is a forever family! If you're looking for a cat, she might just be the girl for you!
Animal Friends Pet Profile:
This adorable purr monster is looking for a loving home where she can live being doted on and pampered just like she deserves. Patsy is a curvy girl with a sassy personality who likes her own space but also loves to snuggle. It can take her a few days to warm up to new people, but once she does, she'll be climbing in your lap and rubbing against your leg with loving head-butts.
Patsy can be a lazy gal, spending hours lounging in her plush cat bed, but she also loves to play! This fun-loving cat can't get enough of shoelaces and other interactive toys that keep her engaged. Patsy would make an excellent companion for someone who works during the day but wants to give her attention (and lots of dinner!) when they get home.
If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Leroy
Western Pa. Humane Society
Leroy hasn't let a tough past get the better of him. This kindly gentleman could really use a forever home where he can put all the bad things that have happened to him behind him, and get the loving forever family he so deserves!
Western Pa. Humane Society Pet Profile:
Our boy Leroy is quite the tough cookie! What a rough time this guy has had - he had a broken jaw from unknown trauma, and he is missing a significant amount of his teeth. You wouldn't know it though! Leroy is a complete and total trooper, and a huge lovebug. He is a favorite patient among our veterinary staff because he is so calm and lovely during exams. He is also a favorite among our volunteers, who adore his sweet and loving nature, gentle purrs, and affectionate personality. Although he can sometimes need you to make the 'first move,' once you do, he will bestow such immense love and affection on you! What a gentleman! We just might end up being best friends! Leroy is up-to-date on all vaccinations, has been altered, microchipped, and has been medically and behaviorally evaluated.

Logan
Animal Rescue League
Logan is a wonderful dog that needs a home where he can get lots of his favorite thing... belly rubs, of course! He loves walks, too. If you think you can give him a good home, then he'd really love to meet you!
Animal Rescue League Pet Profile:
This big beautiful boy is Logan! He is a 5-year-old Bullmastiff who loves people and to be outside! Logan came to us from a family that could no longer keep him, but we have found that he knows several commands including "watch," "sit," and "leave it." He is also working on "down" while at the shelter. Logan enjoys going for walks and, despite his size, walks very nicely and easily with a harness. This sweet guy adores belly rubs and he will gladly stop for them anytime! Logan would love to be the apple of your eye and king of the castle, so he would like to be an only pet in a home with teens and adults. Come and meet Logan to to see if he is your perfect match!
If you'd like to inquire about Logan, please e-mail his volunteer friend Laura at lauraebrocklebank@gmail.com or call 412-345-7300 x215.
