Furry Tails: Helvetica & Chloe Are Searching For Good Homes
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Helvetica
Animal Friends
Look at those bunny ears and big brown eyes, who could resist her? Helvetica needs a loving family who can care for her and give her lots of attention!
Animal Friends says:
"Helvetica is a 2-year-old Agouti and came to Animal Friends with a group of other rabbits that were found running loose in a Pittsburgh neighborhood. She was very thin and had poor dental health from eating scraps of whatever she could find. Now, she's made great improvements in her time here at Animal Friends and is ready to find her forever home.
"Helvetica enjoys spending time in our Bun Runs with other buns and our rabbit volunteers. Our volunteers report she likes spending time with them and enjoys being pet.
"You might say that Helvetica looks a bit like her wild cousin, the Eastern Cottontail and you wouldn't be wrong but trust us, this girl is all class! Come visit her today!"
If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Chloe
Animal Rescue League
Intelligent and playful, Chloe is a darling of a dog! She needs a calm forever home with a family that loves to stay active!
Animal Rescue League says:
"Chloe is a 9-month-old sweetheart who enjoys taking walks, playing with balls, & taking baths. She is an active puppy who is said to be house trained & loves hanging out with her human. Young Chloe has already learned "sit" & "down," but she would greatly benefit from a family who would take her for some training so she can learn more! She was crated in her last home, but might need some further work in crate training. This girl can be nervous in very active environments, so she would prefer a quieter home where she can go out for lots of walks & still have fun. If fun is your middle name, come and meet happy Chloe today!"
To find out more about how to adopt Chloe, visit the Animal Rescue League's website at this link!
For more information on the other adoptable animals at the shelter, visit www.animalrescue.org. The Animal Rescue League is located at 6620 Hamilton Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pa.
