Harlan is an all-around great guy who's very affectionate and playful, and would do best in a home with large dog-savvy family members. If children are in the home, it's recommended they be 10 years of age or older to keep up with his energy level.
Harlan needs an active family where he can act himself and would make a great companion for those who love being outside. Come meet Harlan, he has plenty of kisses to share!

Did someone say exercise? Pavlo needs a second chance… he needs a forever family that be his personal trainer and give him lots of love!

Looking to shed some extra pounds before the summer is over? We found your exercise buddy! Meet Pavlo. Pavlo came to us as an owner surrender after his owners became ill and could no longer care for him.
He is very social and friendly and often seeks attention from people walking past his kennel. He does know some basic commands, but has limited mobility due to his weight. It is very important that Pavlo's adopters develop a strict diet and exercise plan to help him lose that weight that he needs to.
Pavlo met another dog here at the shelter and seemed to do well. Pending a meet and greet, he might be able to live with another dog. We feel as though Pavlo would do best in a home with teens or adults only. If you are interested in adopting Pavlo, please come down to the Western PA Humane Society today!
