Fundraiser Held After Baby Shaken To Death
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A fundraiser was held today to help the mother of a child who was shaken to death.
Police say a 2-year-old named Sophia was abused by her father Matthew Milisits.
They believe he was shaking her because she wouldn't stop crying.
And Sunday, family members gathered to accept toys and money to help Sophia's mother and her children this holiday season.
"Anybody that wants to donate $1 is helpful," family member Paul Kaczor said. "Anything anybody would want to donate."
People can also donate through the Samantha Ludwiczak fun at any PNC bank.
Milisits is due back in court for a hearing next month.
