Goodbye 2011... hello 2012! We're ringing in the New Year with affordable New Year's Eve fun for everyone. On this week's Free & Affordable Pittsburgh segment on Pittsburgh Today Live, we're talking about four fantastically fun ways to celebrate, including a family-friendly Noon Year's Eve, dancing the night away at Title Town, going casual with bowling at Arsenal Lanes, and great live music at Mr. Smalls! Enjoy this family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. Let's face it - it's hard for little ones to stay up until midnight to see the ball drop... or parents wouldn't want them to! Head to the Pittsburgh Zoo, where you can ring in the new year with "a celebration of Time Square proportions." They'll have a countdown to a NOON ball drop, as well as live entertainment provided by Radio Disney so everyone can dance to their hearts' content!

If you're looking for a rockin' New Year's Eve Party on a dime, this event fits the bill. The dress code is "anything you can dance in", and includes light hors d'oeuvres early in the evening, drink specials, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight (while supplies last). You'll be dancing the night away in three different rooms, spinning a mix of house, hip hop, disco and more! This event is only $10, and you can purchase tickets in advance or at the door.

They'll also have DJ sets by Sunset Till Sunrise, Buku, Kevin James, Agent Smith, Kinetik and Akuma. Liz Berlin of Rusted Root will also be making a guest appearance after Midnight! It's only $8 in advance and $10 at the door, so along with drink specials, it's super-affordable as well!
