Frank Lloyd Wright Letter
Have a few extra thousand dollars lying around? Maybe you want to invest it in a piece of history.
A letter from an irate Frank Lloyd Wright is up for auction.
In it, he belittles his contractor and threatens to walk away from his iconic Fallingwater house just four months into its construction.
It's all over changes the contractor made that Lloyd Wright didn't approve of.
Along with the two-page, typed letter from 1936 is also an original blueprint of the home, which was commissioned by Edgar J. Kaufmann.
It includes handwritten notes believed to be written by Wright.
Bidding started at $1,000 and is already up to $2,600.
It's expected to bring in $25,000. Bidding ends on June 20.
