Former Steelers Offensive Line Coach Weighs In On Roethlisberger, Arians
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Former Steelers assistant and current Arizona Cardinals assistant offensive line coach Larry Zierlein joined Starkey and Miller with Chris Mueller to talk about his time with the Steelers and what it was like coaching an offensive line that would try to protect quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Now working under former Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, Zierlein told us whether or not Arians was used as a scapegoat for the Steelers' struggles, and how well he coached up Roethlisberger.
Zierlein told us being an offensive line coach, it could be frustrating trying to block for a quarterback like Roethlisberger because how long he extended the play.
We wrapped things up with Zierlein getting his Super Bowl prediction, and it's obvious his dislike of the Baltimore Ravens still runs deep from his time with the Steelers.
