Former Steelers GM Donahoe Talks About Steelers-Ravens
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Former Steelers GM Tom Donahoe joined Joe Starkey and Josh Miller of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN to talk about the team's loss yesterday and what they can take from it.
Donahoe said the Steelers will watch the film of that "good ole fashioned butt whooping," get past it, and get ready for the next time around.
One surprise in yesterday's game was the play of new Ravens left tackle Bryant McKinnie and the job he did against James Harrison. Tom told us what went on behind the scenes when the Ravens signed the aging former Pro Bowler and how he responded to adversity.
Tom also weighed in on the Steelers' own offensive line issues including the report that the Steelers might lose right tackle Willie Colon for the season after suffering a triceps injury in last night's game.
Donahoe touched on a number of other topics including whether or not he would have given Troy a long-term contract before the season, and the use of true fullbacks after Vontae Leach's major presence in yesterday's game.
