Former Pitt OL McGlynn: Paul Chryst Is Perfect For Pittsburgh Football
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman and Pitt football alumnus Mike McGlynn joined The Fan Morning Show for an interview aired on Wednesday to talk about the Colts' playoff run and to offer his thoughts on the state of Pitt football.
He talked about the Colts' comeback against the Chiefs in the Wild Card round, and called Andrew Luck a "stud," the "ultimate competitor," and the best leader that he has ever been around. He explained that players enjoy a great win like Saturday's for about a day before they move on to the next game.
He also offered his thoughts on the Colts' divisional round matchup against the Patriots.
He thinks Pitt football is headed in the right direction with Paul Chryst at the help, and believes that Paul Chryst's coaching style is perfect for Pittsburgh football.
He considers Pitt's bowl win to be a huge positive, because he believes it can give the Panthers a boost entering next year. He hopes that the win leads to success both on the recruiting trail and on the field for Pitt in 2014.
