Former Penn State VP Wants Perjury Charge Tossed
STATE COLLEGE (KDKA) -- There is a new development in the Penn State child sex abuse scandal.
Former Penn State Vice President Gary Schultz wants a judge to throw out charges that he lied to a grand jury and didn't properly report suspected child abuse in the Jerry Sandusky case.
The motions were filed Tuesday afternoon.
Schultz' co-defendant, former athletic director Tim Curley, made the same move on Monday.
