Former Penn State Nittany Lion Jeff Hartings Weighs In On Ohio State Debacle
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Former Pittsburgh Steeler and Penn State Nittany Lion Jeff Hartings joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on The FAN to talk about what he has been up to since retiring and how he feels about Jim Tressel resigning as Head Coach of Ohio St.
When it comes to everything that has taken place at Ohio State, Hartings said his initial reaction to the news was disappointment and he was shocked that Jim Tressel had to step down. Jeff does hope that someday Tressel will come out with a statement clearing everything that happened up because as he puts it, there is always more going on in these situations than we find out.
On the other hand, the Ohio State situation has made Jeff appreciate his time at Penn State that much more because things were so strict up there that he wouldn't have been able to get away with some of the things the Ohio State players have gotten away with and has given him a whole new appreciation for what Joe Paterno has done for that university.
We wrapped things up with Jeff getting him to share an embarrassing Josh Miller story from their playing days together.
