Former Penn State Linebacker/Defensive End Discusses Disappointment
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Former Penn State Nittany Lion and Pittsburgh Steeler Eric Ravotti joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller to talk about his time at Penn State and how he feels about all of the news coming out of his alma mater.
Ravotti played under Joe Paterno and Jerry Sandusky, and said sometimes you think you know a person, and then they disappoint you, which is what happened here.
Ravotti pointed out that nobody is condoning what Paterno did, but the vast number of great contributions he made to Penn State will now forever be overlooked. Despite not wanting to see Paterno's legacy completely tarnished in the long run, Ravotti did agree with the Board of Trustees decisions, but doesn't agree with the way it was handled.
