Flooding Concerns Keep Mon Wharf Closed
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Officials with the Pittsburgh Parking Authority say the Mon Wharf will remain closed on Monday over of flooding concerns.
A Flood Advisory remains in effect for the Ohio River at Pittsburgh through Thursday evening.
At 2 p.m. on Sunday, officials said the river was at 18.6 feet and still rising. The wharf floods when the Ohio River at the Point is above 18 feet.
Parking Authority officials remind commuters that parking is available at the First Avenue Garage and Second Avenue Plaza.
The Mon Wharf will remain closed until further notice.
