Flood warnings remain in place for parts of Pittsburgh area
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh-area rivers are starting to recede after cresting on Thursday.
First Alert: Flood warnings for rivers all expiring at different times; rivers are to recede within the next 24 to 36 hours
The Ohio River in Pittsburgh was at 26 feet around 5 p.m. The "Bathtub" was at 25 feet but is going down sometime overnight, while the 10th Street Bypass was at 22 feet and was going below that sometime Friday evening.
The "action stage" is 18 feet, when the Riverwalk begins to clear, but it's not forecasted to get there until Monday evening.
There's also a winter weather advisory for Garrett County, Maryland, until midnight Saturday where 2 to 5 inches are expected total over the next few days.

Rain and snow showers continue through Friday with highs in the low 40s and wind gusts around 20 to 25 mph. The Pirates' home opener will be chilly with showers.
Saturday will be cloudy with highs near 50 before becoming mostly sunny Sunday and highs in the upper 50s.
Eclipse forecast: Monday will be in the mid-60s with a few clouds during the total solar eclipse. Ninety-seven percent will be visible in Pittsburgh at 3:17 and right now, it looks like we also could see light showers.
The 70s return Tuesday and Wednesday with rain showers possible.
