Flood Advisory In Effect For Ohio River
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A flood advisory is in effect for the Ohio River in Pittsburgh until Wednesday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory will be in effect until noon on Wednesday.
At 4 a.m. Sunday, the river was at 17.2 feet. It is expected to crest around 21.9 feet early Monday afternoon.
The Mon Wharf begins to flood when the river reaches about 18 feet, while the North Shore Riverwalk starts to take on water at 19 feet.
Additionally, the Tenth Street Bypass begins to flood at 22 feet.
