Flight 93 National Memorial Marks 11th Anniversary Of 9/11
Officials with the Flight 93 National Memorial have released a schedule of events for the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11.
This year, the 40 passengers and crew will be honored with four days of special programs leading up to the annual observance on Sept. 11.
The programs include commemorative ceremonies, panel discussions and luminary lightings.
One of the programs is called "Learning Center Without Walls," which officials say is a series of panel discussions that explores the events of 9/11 from different perspectives.
Then, on Sept. 11, the observance will begin at 9:45 a.m. The names of the passengers and crew of Flight 93 will be read at 10:03 a.m., the moment the flight crashed.
