Flash Flood Warning Issued For Allegheny County
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The National Weather Service says a flash flood warning is in effect for Allegheny County until later Sunday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, flash flooding is expected to happen between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday in central Allegheny County. They say doppler radar shows thunderstorms and heavy rain coming into the area Sunday afternoon.

The NWS says some affected locations include Pittsburgh, West Mifflin, Baldwin, Wilkinsburg, Munhall, Swissvale, Forest Hills, Duquesne, North Braddock, Homestead, Edgewood, Churchill, Braddock, Rankin, West Homestead, Braddock Hills and Whitaker.
East central Washington County is also included in the warning.

Around 1:30 p.m., flooding was reported on Lebanon Church Road at Clairton Road and Forest Avenue in West Homestead.
KDKA viewer Gretchen Fitzgerald sent a picture of flooding on Lebanon Road by Mifflin Road in Hays shortly before 1:30 p.m.
