Fire Damages 2 Abandoned Homes In Donora
DONORA (KDKA) -- Two abandoned homes were damaged and a third one was threatened when fire broke out Sunday in Washington County.
The fire happened in the 400-block of Liberty Avenue in Donora.
A man living in the neighborhood says he was one of the first to notice the smoke and flames.
"We just [saw] fire ripping at this house, and as it's ripping out the house, it's catching the other house next to it on fire, the porch came collapsing down and that's just about everything I [saw] from that point," said Robert Wright, of Donora.
According to the Observer-Reporter, police say the homes sustained heat damage.
There's no word yet on how the fire started.
