FBI Raids High Field Urgent Care In Green Tree

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - FBI agents could be seen leaving High Field Urgent Care and MRI in Green Tree Wednesday morning.
It's not known what exactly they were investigating. An FBI spokesperson said they were "conducting law enforcement activity at that location." Agents were loading boxes and computers into trucks, but no other information has been provided.
Patients tried to walk through the automatic door, checked their phones and called the office. All of them had scheduled appointments for a doctor's office now locked up and the subject of an FBI raid.
Employees inside High Field said the practice is shut down until further notice, saying the bosses are not there and they're not aware of any attorney representing the company.
"Still not really sure what's going on but really surprised for Green Tree," said Rob Mazzie, who owns a building across the street. He said the doctor's office is always busy and a popular pandemic spot for COVID testing and antibody treatments.
"I know during COVID they were very, very busy. At some point, Green Tree police needed to direct traffic to let people get in and out of that parking lot," Mazzie said.
One patient, Ryan Moore, said when he came to get an MRI done, he was turned away by an FBI agent. They told him he'd need to come back because they were executing a federal search warrant, but he'd already pre-paid for his MRI.
Moore said a friend recommended the doctor's office to him and he discovered "cheap" out-of-pocket options.
"It's quick too, because for my regular appointment that covered the visit fee and the x-ray fee, it was only $75. But I'm sure if they go through insurance, it's probably a lot more than that," Moore said.
No one answered the phone Wednesday, and someone already wiped the practice's answering machine message.
