Fayette Co. Walmart Evacuated After Bomb Scare
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Shoppers were ushered out of a Fayette County Walmart Saturday evening after a bomb threat was reported.
Around 7 p.m., shoppers were made to the leave the Walmart in Belle Vernon.
Police took about two hours to search the store with the help of a K-9, but didn't find anything suspicious.
After the search, shoppers were let back in the store around 9 p.m.
It's unclear how police were made aware of the bomb threat. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
No word on any suspects.
