Fatal Crash In Mt. Pleasant Twp. Under Investigation
MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A deadly accident is under investigation in Westmoreland County.
Investigators say one person was killed in the Saturday evening crash along School Street in Mount Pleasant Township.
The Westmoreland County Coroner's office says 27-year-old Corey Moximchalk of Mt. Pleasant Borough died after the car he was a passenger in traveled off the road and hit two utility poles before rolling over and hitting a tree. Officials say Moximchalk was not wearing a seat belt and the car was likely speeding.
Two other people were reportedly also injured in the accident.
Police closed down the road for hours while they conducted their investigation.
