Fans Making Long Trek To London To See Steelers
LONDON (KDKA) -- A bit bleary-eyed from an overnight flight, Steelers Nation arrived across the river from Parliament and Big Ben anxious for adventure.
"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to just see the Steelers and the Vikings, and in of all places, it's a once in a lifetime shot," said Steelers fan Mark Fehr, of McKeesport.
They are also arrived undaunted by the Steelers' 0-3 record and confident a dramatic change in the environment will be a dramatic improvement on the field.
"We're winning, we're winning," said Steelers fan Scott Campbell, of Myrtle Beach. "We are taking this one home, jet lag or not.

"I think they have an opportunity to show they are still the Steelers.," said Connie McDaniel, of Penn Hills. "I know it's a rebuilding year, but they have an opportunity to come out and be champions again."
Steelers President Art Rooney II says he's very impressed by the number of Steelers fans who have made the trip.
"It's great. Our fans are amazing. They never cease to amaze me anywhere we go," said Rooney. "They make their mark, and it will be great to see how they respond to the game in London and Wembley Stadium."
But the Rooney points out not all the Steelers fans in London this weekend are carrying U.S. passports.
"A lot of fans from all over Europe," he said. "I think it's a great opportunity for our European fans to experience Steeler football."
