Fan's Guide To Peoples Natural Gas Field
While Pittsburgh has major league baseball team the Pirates, its minor-league affiliate, the Curve, is located in Altoona, about two hours away from Pittsburgh. The team's home is the 7,210-seat Peoples Natural Gas Field, named for a natural-gas distribution company and modeled after a railroad roundhouse. The field is often considered among the best minor-league fields in the country -- especially fitting considering major leage affiliate stadium PNC Park has been named the best ballpark in the country. Looking to get out and enjoy a game from the Altoona Curve this summer? Here's everything you need to know about Peoples Natural Gas Field to help you plan your trip.
