Family Pleads For Information In Fatal Knoxville Home Invasion
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The family of a young man killed during a home invasion in Knoxville is searching for answers.
Pittsburgh Police say 19-year-old Antwan Leake was shot at least two times at 315 Rochelle Street at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
He was shot in the kitchen.
"It's heart-wrenching, it's heart-wrenching," Antwan McKamey, the victim's father, told KDKA-TV.
Police believe two gunmen entered the house and shot Leake. The family is pleading for someone to come forward.
"Say what you know," McKamey said. "If you're scared, I mean, God will be with you."
"Please, whoever you are, please, for our family's sake, come forward," Mildred Redman, the victim's aunt, said.
Leake leaves behind a child.
"He left a son out here and he didn't get a chance to know his father," McKamey said.
The family does not have enough money to bury Leake and has established the "Antwan Leake Memorial Fund" at PNC Bank.
