Facebook Could Owe You Money
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Attention Facebook users, the social media company may owe you money.
Facebook reportedly got caught using some people's likenesses in its sponsored stories program, without users' permission.
The company has since settled a class action lawsuit for around $20-million dollars.
That means, each Facebook user should be entitled to around $10 dollars.
The lawsuit was reportedly settled in October according to Gizmodo.
Keep an eye out for an email that reads, "Legal Notice of Settlement Of Class Action." If you receive one, you'll have to fill out an online form to submit a claim.
