Ex-Pro Explains Brain Injuries In The NFL
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - Hall of Fame Linemen Joe DeLamielleure gave some insight into brain injuries in the NFL.
DeLamielleure says that his generation of NFL players were "guinea pigs" and how many are affected by CTE, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.
DeLamielleure explained that "all kinds of guys out there need help," because of the injuries sustained back when the NFL teams had hard hitting two-a-day practices.
The NFL has made some changes to help player safety, but the damage has already been done to generations of ex-pro football players.
