Coal Truck Spills Load In Westmoreland Co. Crash
GREENSBURG (KDKA) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident involving a coal truck in Westmoreland County Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened on Route 30 in Greensburg near the Route 136 Bridge.
According to police, a woman was behind a line of cars waiting to merge onto the road. She became impatient and pulled out directly into the path of the coal truck.
After impacting the woman's car, the coal truck came to rest on its side and spilled its load onto the road.
Minor injuries were reported and the driver of the car is likely to be cited.
