Enrollment Down At 14 Pennsylvania State-Owned Universities
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Enrollment is down at Pennsylvania's 14 state-owned universities.
This year, enrollment dropped by 2,500 students, for a fall semester total of 95,802.
That's down 20 percent from 2010, when enrollment was at its peak.
All five schools in Western Pennsylvania saw a drop from last fall, with IUP losing the most students overall.
