EJ Banks Transferring To Pitt
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Another former WPIAL player is transferring back home to play for the Pitt Panthers.
Former Montour star EJ Banks is leaving Notre Dame and joining the Pitt football team.
Banks will have to sit out the 2011 season and will be eligible to play in the 2012 season.
The cornerback did not play last year still leaving him with four years of eligibility.
Banks entered Notre Dame spring practice last year as a backup to cornerback Darrin Walls.
Banks was a four-year starter at quarterback and safety at Montour.
Todd Graham will have a couple highly rated cornerbacks eligible for the 2012 season in Banks and former Michigan cornerback Cullen Christian.
