Eastern Conference Finals Schedule Released
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – At long last, the NHL has announced the schedule for the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins.
The matchup has been known since the Bruins ousted the New York Rangers on Saturday. However, several factors figured into the delayed schedule announcement.
Both Western Conference semifinal series have gone to a seventh game. The Los Angeles Kings knocked off the San Jose Sharks Tuesday and will face the winner of Game 7 between the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks tonight.
Further complicating matters is a scheduling conflict in Boston. The TD Garden was unavailable due to a New Kids on the Block concert Sunday and Monday.
So, when will Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals finally get underway? How does Saturday, June 1 at 8 p.m. sound?

Game 1 – Bruins Vs. Penguins at CONSOL Energy Center – Saturday, June 1 at 8 p.m.
Game 2 - Bruins Vs. Penguins at CONSOL Energy Center – Monday, June 3 at 8 p.m.
Game 3 – Penguins Vs. Bruins at TD Garden – Wednesday, June 5 at 8 p.m.
Game 4 – Penguins Vs. Bruins at TD Garden – Friday, June 7 at 8 p.m.
*Game 5 – Bruins Vs. Penguins at CONSOL Energy Center – Sunday, June 9 at 8 p.m.
