East Hills Shooting Leaves Teenager In Critical Condition

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Around 11 p.m. Friday, Pittsburgh Police were called to a shooting in the 2100 block of Park Hill Drive in the East Hills.
Officers were called out because someone reported hearing shots fired. When police got to the scene, they found a victim nearby.
"Turns out that a 17-year-old male was shot several times at least once in the chest," said Commander Mike Pilyih with Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
The 17-year-old boy was transported to the hospital and is in critical but stable condition. Police tape surrounded an apartment and grassy area nearby. Investigators spent hours gathering evidence and trying to piece together clues. No weapon was found at the scene.
