Duquesne University Student Charged With Rape
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A student at Duquesne University is charged in a case of alleged date rape.
The student, 23-year-old Souleyman Tigana is charged with rape, sexual assault and indecent assault.
A woman says she met Tigana one night a bar and agreed to meet him for coffee the next night.
According to the criminal complaint, she says she went back to Tigana's dorm room and the two agreed to remove some clothing.
She tells police that's when Tigana forced himself on her, even though she repeatedly told him no.
Tigana was released on bond without having to post any money.
A spokesperson for the school says an email has been sent out to students to alert them of a reported sexual assault.
