Driver Leads Police On Chase, Arrested For DUI
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One man was arrested after leading police on chase while driving drunk.
Police say around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, they heard an engine rev and saw a black Dodge speeding across the 13th Street Bridge in Franklin.
When they tried to pull over the car, they say the driver, Nathan Mcaninch, led police on a chase, almost hitting several parked cars. He eventually crashed in the 400-block of Grant Street.
Police say they then discovered Mcaninch was driving under the influence and arrested him.
The driver's side of the car was heavily damaged from the crash and one of the two passengers was also injured.
