"Doodle 4 Google" Contest
A local student is in the running for the Doodle 4 Google contest, a competition that invites students to redesign Google's homepage logo.
Talia M., a 10-year-old from Indiana, Pa., is among 10 finalists in the fourth and fifth grade group. Her doodle is called "Traveling To Me."
She says when she thinks of Google, she thinks of a wormhole leading to knowledge.
One finalist from each age group will be chosen to compete to be the national winner and have their artwork appear on Google's homepage.
Voting continues through May 10th.
