Dollar Bank Representative Discusses Refinancing
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA)- Mike Henry of Dollar Bank joined KDKA Radio's Robert Mangino in studio to discuss refinancing.
Henry says if homeownerss are looking to refinance now is the time to do it.
A good way to determine when to refinance is by looking at the current stock market and the rate of home sales. Waiting for rates to drop will hurt homeowners in the long run. Following housing trends is also a great way to determine when to refinance.
"There are a lot of good economic indicators that would indicate rates are heading more up than down," he said.
Although the stock market has hit new highs and home sales have jumped, Henry says, "It is still an excellent time to buy a home and refinancing is still a solid option."
Dollar Bank says the most important thing to do when buying a home or refinancing is to get as much information as possible.
