Dog Found Shot In Mercer County
HADLEY, Pa. (KDKA) -- State police in Mercer County are investigating after a dog was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound Saturday morning.
State police say that a woman took her three dogs outside in front of her home on Salem Road around 7 a.m. Saturday. She told police that she went back into her house and when she came back outside again, one of her dogs was missing. While she was searching and calling for the missing dog, she heard a single gunshot, which, she told police, she assumed was someone hunting turkey in the area.
