Dog Pulled From Frozen Pond In Lawrence County
LAWRENCE COUNTY (KDKA) – Fire crews helped rescue a dog that was trapped in an icy pond in North Beaver Township.
Witnesses say the dog was trying to cross the pond when it fell through the ice.
A family nearby noticed the dog, and called for help.
"We jumped in the boat, rowed ourselves out there, and luckily were able to break through the ice and grab the dog," Mark Pezzuolo said.
The dog was pulled out of the water unharmed, and returned him to his very happy owner.
