Doctor Arrested, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Female Patients
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A local doctor is accused of sexually assaulting two women and officials believe there are more victims.
Dr. Raja Chakrapani, 59, of Fox Chapel, was arrested Tuesday by Allegheny County Police after he allegedly touched two women inappropriately when he was alone with them during routine exams.
Chakrapani has five offices, but both women say he assaulted them at his White Oak office on Lincoln Way.
The District Attorney's office thinks there may be more victims since he has several offices and is asking anyone else to come forward.
Police say they are aware of a third possible victim, but so far she has refused to testify in the investigation.
Chakrapani faces charges of harassment and indecent assault.
