Dinkins: Players Are Seen As Commodities Not People
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Former NFL player rep Darnell Dinkins joined Seibel, Starkey & Miller live in the studio to talk about the rhetoric over the new CBA negotiations.
Dinkins says one of the problems is that the players are seen as commodities, not people.
Dinkins also said, people are desensitized to what the players make and a possible solution would be for the owners to open the books and be fully transparent.
Podcast
Dinkins predicts that a new deal will be finalized this summer when the owners start losing money from missed preseason games.
