Diesel Fuel Spill Causes Major Delays On Parkway East
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A fuel spill tied up traffic during the noon hour today on the Parkway East.
One outbound lane had to be closed between the Bates Street exit and the Squirrel Hill Tunnels.
Officials say a tractor trailer hit something in the road and punctured its fuel tank.
Diesel fuel then spilled into drains along the road.
Delays were expected in that area well into the afternoon.
