Despite Suspension, Le'Veon Bell Still Considered Top Fantasy Player
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell established himself as one of the top fantasy football options in the NFL last year.
Facing a three-game suspension in the upcoming season, you'd think that would hurt Bell's fantasy value.
According to CBSSports.com Senior Fantasy Writer Dave Richard, operating under the assumption that Bell's appeal knocks at least a game off his suspension, he'd still consider taking Bell with the first overall pick in his drafts.
The only caveats Richard lists for taking Bell that high is that he'd have to know who will start in Bell's place, where he can draft that player and the matchups he'll play in.
So if you agree with Richard and would take Bell that early in your draft, you better be ready to snag Steelers backup running back DeAngelo Williams to start in his place during the suspension.
