Designer Dress Days Return To Monroeville
If you thought labels like Prada and Oscar de la Renta were out of your budget, think again.
At Designer Dress Days, couture is actually affordable and department store brands are ridiculously cheap.
"This dress was priced at $800, but now it's only $40," Audrey Guskey, Duquesne University marketing professor, said.
This is the 40th year the National Council of Jewish Women has put on Designer Dress Days which is at the Monroeville Mall Convention Center.
It's expected to raise almost $250,000 – all of which goes back into social services in our area.
New this year is a bridal section with 150 brand new dresses. They'd retail for up to $1,000, but at the event they won't go for more than $250.
You'll also find deep discounts on jewelry, purses, gently-worn furs, winter coats, shoes and men's clothes.
On Sunday, everything is half off.
