1 Student Killed, 7 Others Injured In Denver-Area School Shooting
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS) – One student was killed and seven other students were hurt in a shooting a Denver-area school Tuesday.
Police say "two shooters" were caught by officers running into the building. Both suspects are students at the school.
Douglas County Sheriff's responded to STEM School Highlands Ranch, a K-12 charter school, just after 2 p.m.
The sheriff's office confirmed an 18-year-old male student was killed in the shooting.
It is with extreme sadness that we can confirm that 1 student at the STEM School was killed in today's #stemshooting incident. The immediate family has been notified. Douglas County Coroner Jill Romann has not officially identified the student is stating it's an 18 year old male.
