One person killed in McKeesport shooting
MCKEESPORT, Pa. (KDKA) — One person was killed Monday night in a shooting in McKeesport.
Allegheny County Police said officers were called to an apartment on Evans Avenue around 9 p.m. for a reported shooting.
Officials found a deceased person inside an apartment.
The victim's mother tells KDKA that she's heartbroken someone took her son's life.
KDKA's news crew was at the scene as Allegheny County Police gathered evidence.
Homicide detectives were called to the shooting at the apartment near the Double S Saloon.
The victim's mother says she knew something was wrong when she didn't hear from her son.
No other information surrounding the shooting has been released by police.
County homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
