Deadly Domestic Dispute In Baldwin Borough
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man is in police custody after allegedly murdering his wife early Sunday morning in Baldwin Borough.
It happened just before 2 a.m. at 5228 Meadowcrest Road.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 call saying a woman had been shot.
They found 33-year-old Kimberly Jo Conway dead of a gunshot wound.
Her husband, 31-year-old Benjamin Conway, was at the house, where he was arrested and transported to the hospital for self-inflicted wounds, according to police.
Neighbors say the couple was new to the neighborhood and mostly kept to themselves.
Homicide Detectives say earlier in the night, there was a domestic disturbance and a third family member was present.
The relative was the one who disarmed Benjamin Conway and called police.
Conway has been charged with criminal homicide.
