Dayton To Hire Archie Miller
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Sean Miller's success at Arizona may have helped his brother land a head coaching job.
The Dayton Flyers will reportedly hire Arizona assistant Archie Miller to be their next head coach.
The 32-year old has been with Arizona for two years after working with Thad Motta at Ohio State. Before that he spent a year with Herb Sendek at Arizona State.
The Blackhawk graduate played college basketball at NC State.
Foxsports.com reports that Miller became the front runner for the Dayton job once Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski withdrew his name from consideration.
Miller, who's known for his tenacity on the bench and his recruiting ability, will be the 19th head coach in Dayton history.
Brian Gregory left Dayton to become head coach at Georgia Tech.
