Crosby's Optimism Towards Ending The Lockout As Low As It Has Been
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Joe Starkey of Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN talked with Penguins' captain Sidney Crosby today to discuss the lockout and where things stand.
Crosby admitted his level of optimism is probably as low as it has been, but he's trying not to get too caught up in that and just stay ready for if and when the lockout ends.
When it comes to going overseas to play, Crosby said he hasn't given that a lot of thought lately because he's more concerned with what's happening in the NHL.
Crosby also addresses all the people who are out of work or losing revenue because of the lockout and what he wants them to know about this situation.
Starkey also talked with Crosby about what his relationship with Penguins' owner Mario Lemieux has been like because they're on opposing sides during the lockout. While discussing the opposing sides of the lockout, Crosby talked about the players representative Donald Fehr and if they're comfortable with him leading their cause.
